Google Docs & Spreadsheets toolbar button.

I use both Google Docs and the Google toolbar everyday, I was surprised to find there was not a toolbar button for Google Docs & Spreadsheets…. so I made one.

Download the Google Docs & Spreadsheets toolbar button here.

Enjoy!

    Hey there,

I downloaded your Google Docs & Spreadsheets Google Toolbar for Firefox Button and noticed the icons background was off, it was white instead of transparent.

Here is the icon code I used to fix this issue:

You’re more than welcome. I saved me the trouble of having to update it on every machine that I have google toolbar installed… :D

    Let’s hope everybody updates it.

Is it possible to have a drop down list, like for Gmail or GCal button, that shows the active documents? Even if you’d just explain me how to get that list in some parseable format, it would be nice.
    Thanks,

Probably this could help, if you’re still working on it:

    Thanks Veky,

I still plan to add this but haven’t got back to it. That API sounds like just what is needed. Thanks.

    Hi Jon,

Button’s great but I’ve made one with a slight addition; a drop-down of your recent documents so you have quicker access to the doc/ss you’re after.

    The button’s here:
    http://logan.mediaisotope.com/google_docs/

.. feel free to pillage the tag; it’s just a standard gdocs URL :-)

    ATB,
    Jim
